No matter where you are in the world, the only way to get to Bhutan is through our four ports of entry. If you are flying, the only entry is through Paro International Airport. The government has recently increased flight frequency and destinations. We now have flights to these destinations - daily flights to Bangkok, Thailand; Delhi and Kolkata, India. Increased flights to other new destinations such as - Guwahati, Bodhgaya, Bagdora, Mumbai, India; Singapore, Dhaka, Bangladesh; Kathmandu, Nepal. And, if you prefer driving, you could enter Bhutan through three ports via the Indian border Samdrup Jongkhar (South Eastern Bhutan), Gelephu (South Central Bhutan) and via Phuntsholing ( South Western Bhutan).
In-country travel has been made easier. Government has introduced domestic flights. Travellers can now opt to fly from Paro to Bumthang (Central Bhutan), Yongphula, Trashigang (Eastern Bhutan) and Gelephu (South Central).
